GoodWorkLabs builds Technology Solution for Carer Program

The GoodWorkLabs team recently caught up with Samara Mahindra, the Founder of the Carer Program – a one of a kind Cancer recovery program, to understand the technology requirement of her business.

Samara wanted to build a web application that would provide holistic therapy for cancer patients post their treatment. The challenge here was to build an easy-to-use and brilliant UI/UX for an age group ranging from 7 years to up to 70 years.

Our Process:

The design team at GoodWorkLabs immediately dived deep into understanding the core of the Carer program business. The idea was to establish an instant connect with the patients who would use this program, and so, we looked at minute details such as color codes, fonts, background textures etc that would help in creating a soothing experience for the users.

We then worked on providing excellent user interactions that would allow patients to easily navigate through the Carer Program modules.

Once we got the aesthetics in place, we began the next process which was the development stage.

As a company, we believe in providing a complete end-to-end solution for our customers, and using agile software development methodologies we created an interactive web application for the Carer Program.

Our journey with the Carer Program:

GoodWorkLabs has always been in the forefront in creating cutting-edge technologies. At the same time, we are also passionate about creating products that touch the lives of millions of users.

Our team was super excited about working with Carer Program and in the healthcare space. As we all know, cancer is a serious medical condition. But building a technology solution that would help speed up the process of cancer recovery was a cause that we were very happy and proud to be part of.

In the video above, Samara also shares a few words about her experience of working with GoodWorkLabs.

“There were many things that stood out with GoodWorkLabs, I think one is the efficiency and just trust! I have worked with many other technology companies, but this is the one company that I can really trust. If there is any glitch in the program or if there is any kind of technical difficulty, or if I want any advise when it comes to do anything with technology, I know I have a team that is there by me who are super efficient and shall get the job done”

Why choose GoodWorkLabs:

We don’t just build products. We help in creating an ecosystem for businesses to thrive with the latest technologies.

Also, we go that extra mile to understand your business persona and build products that are aligned to your objectives.

So, if you have a technology requirement and are looking for an exceptional UI/UX design and software development firm, then GoodWorkLabs is the right technology partner for you.

GoodWorkLabs Founders turn Angel Investors in 2017

2017 is the year of Angel Investment!

The New Year is the time when people are motivated to do new things and are enthusiastic to chase their dreams.

GoodWorkLabs CEO, Vishwas Mudagal also decided to do something new in 2017 – to become an Angel Investor.

Read on to know more about his plans:

Every year, we tend to start a new journey. Some are conscious, deliberate and well-planned, and some are uncharted, unplanned, or just plain reckless.

Some of these plans become successful, some valuable learning, some great experiences, some sour incidents and some just fleeting time that we forget. But put them together, they define who you are currently and who you are about to become.

In 2009, I experimented with story telling without any prior experience of writing a novel. After n-number of rejections, my novel ‘Losing My Religion’ was finally published in 2014 and went on to become a No.1 best-seller. My decision to be shameless and experiment with writing changed me forever.

In 2013, Sonia and I started GoodWorkLabs, an IT product company and design studio. We didn’t have anything with us then, no funding, no cushion to fall back on, no safety net in case we fail. It was a do or die situation. But what we had was a wealth of knowledge and experience, and a vision to change the world with technology.

Today, we are a multi-million-dollar company, growing at 500% year-on-year & ranked as the 5th fastest growing company in India in 2016. The products that we have built for our clients are today being used by 60+ million people globally. Had Sonia and I gotten afraid and not taken the step to start our company, we wouldn’t have been in this position of strength today.

Goodworklabs founders

One thing that I have realized by all these events is that you have to ‘care a damn’ about the negativity in the world and do something new that excites and drives you, every once in a while. You have to constantly reinvent yourself, else you will be irrelevant to this world. In the process, you need to add value to everyone and make this world a better place.

So for 2017, I have decided to do something new. (This is apart from the launch of my next book, which will be the Part 1 of an exciting trilogy)

I have decided to become an Angel Investor. Sonia and I will invest in 3 promising startups that has a ‘real’ business/revenue model and growth potential. We will invest anywhere between USD $50k to USD $200k depending on the need.

The money is just one of the benefits. The startups will have us as their pillars of strength and

1) Access to our valuable network, our clients and partners at GoodWorkLabs,

2) Free office space for as long as they want,

3) Help with technology and design, PR/marketing and

4) Mentorship

We are excited about being part of innovative and energetic teams and adding value!

If you are a startup or want to refer someone, please write to us. Also share it with people who might benefit.

Have a great 2017!

Let’s start something new!

Bill Gates appreciates Nandan Nilekani’s digital project – EkStep

Bill Gates appreciates EkStep

GoodWorkLabs has been fortunate to be a core technology, design and gaming partner of EkStep Foundation, which aims to benefit 150 million students in the next 5 years. During Bill Gate’s recent visit to India in November 2016, he had the opportunity to catch up with Nandan Nilekani, one of India’s dignified entrepreneur and innovator where he learned about the EkStep Foundation and their technology innovations in the Education industry.

Bill gates appreciates Ekstep

In one of his recent speeches, he appreciates the pioneering efforts of EkStep in creating a Digital platform for Education.

The digital revolution has not yet changed education, but it will! The idea that young children can play on low cost cell phones, try out their numeric skills and play games that are helping them with their literacy is an exciting vision. The idea to provide the best content and the best lectures on a digital platform at a low cost is a very noble one.

With pioneers like EkStep who are building a technology platform to bring all of this great content in one place for young children is a huge step for Digital India. This will be the beginning of a global community who aim to bring together education software.

More on EkStep’s giant Tech leap:

Nandan Nilekani’s EkStep Foundation is all set to democratize the learning process in India. Their aim to provide access to high quality content to children in government schools and not restrict them to the text books alone. EkStep is addressing these learning challenges by building a technology platform such as Gamified apps that will help students learn high quality content in multiple languages.

Language will no longer be a hurdle for students who wish to learn and nearly 10,000 government schools are using EkStep platform to enhance the learning levels of children.

Recently, the Maharashtra government tied up with Ekstep to collaborate and exchange e-content to enhance the learning experience of students.

GoodWorkLabs congratulates EkStep:

The team at GoodWorkLabs congratulates and applaudes Nandan Nilekani vision and also the team at EkStep. We have had the privilege to work with and develop a product to help revolutionize the education industry in India. We are extremely excited to see how various schools across the country embrace EkStep’s technology and fully support their vision.
