Recently, the CEO magazine wanted to cover the amazing entrepreneurship journey of Sonia Sharma the MD and Co-Founder of technology startup – GoodWorkLabs. Sonia always dreamt of creating jobs rather than working for an organization as an employee. She never gave up on this dream of hers and that was what fueled her to create the multi-million dollar technology company – GoodWorkLabs.
The entrepreneurial duo – Sonia Sharma and Vishwas Mudagal (CEO and Co-founder of GoodWorkLabs) identified the pressing need for flawless products in the IT services industry. Backed by a strong background and experience in product development and R&D, both Sonia and Vishwas wanted to be the “go-to product guys” in the Technology Industry which led to the inception of GoodWorkLabs in 2013 and now have offices in Bangalore, Kolkatta and San Francisco, Bay area.
Today, GoodWorkLabs helps Fortune 500 companies like Flipkart, Samsung, Hindustan Lever etc and also funded start ups to design and build robust products such as mobile apps, software products or games. It also houses an in-house UX Design Studio which builds aesthetic, easy to use and engaging user experiences and interfaces that delights the target audience.
When asked about the future road map for GoodWorkLabs, Sonia was very positive and expressed that GoodWorkLabs will continue to take up complex technology and design work for customers worldwide. They intend to grow globally with offices in key geographical areas around the world and bring out products and solutions for different industry verticals.
GoodWorkLabs is a successful bootstrapped firm that surpassed revenues of US$2.5 million for the FY 2015-16 and looks forward to reaching US$12 million by FY 2017-18. Both Sonia and her team of Superstars work towards a common vision and that is to make GoodWorkLabs a global leader in innovation, outsourcing and delivering cutting-edge software solutions.
